Pre-Heaven Bagua Arrangement

The above diagram, Fuxi's Pre-Heaven Bagua Arrangement, symbolizes all the principle energies of the universe, according to China's "Book of Changes" called the "Yi Jing."

Yi Jing or I Ching, is pronounced "Eee-Jing," and translates from the Chinese language as a sacred "Book of Changes" and divinations. It is one of China's most revered texts on Daoist cosmology, philosophy, wisdom and method of gaining insight into past, present and future events.

The Yi Jing is considered to be one of the main pillars of Chinese civilization, and a major contribution of spiritual knowledge and wisdom for the universal evolution of all humankind. So, to the Chinese and other Asian peoples from the east and west, the Yi Jing has the same level of respect and reverence as does the Judeo/Christian bible of western and middle eastern cultures.

For over 8,000 years, many spiritually developed Chinese have consulted the Yi Jing in order to live more harmoniously within their environments. They have carefully studied its nature based principles and commonsense advice in order to avoid misfortune or unnecessary suffering during times of confusion and turmoil. And, they have also applied its insights to help themselves and others further extend good fortune and prosperity during times of peace and happiness.
